Shiraz
The Gipsie Jack Shiraz represents the most common thread between the Gipsie Jack family. Not just the superior quality shiraz grapes grown in and around this majestic little town but the people from the region and the sense of mateship and community spirit which runs deep in their veins.
This wine was first made to help out local growers - mates - who had lost their contracts with big corporate wineries at the start of the wine glut. John, Bill and Ben couldn't let the quality Langhorne Creek fruit go to waste and along with it, their friends' livelihoods. Hence the beginning of the Gipsie Jack Wine Company and the very first wine in the range, Gipsie Jack Shiraz.
